After working with clients and helping others heal, i have found that the missing piece for a lot of people is their ability to experience emotion in a healthy way. We dive deep in this podcast, leave no room for small talk, and get real about questions we need to ask ourselves so we can wake up from our numb slumber and love the people and world around us.

In this episode we dive into Jess's story, walking through a chiildhood and earlly adulthood pursuit of everything that she thought would satisfy,, and not finding anything to fill the God-sized longing and hole in her heart. We talk about the perils of growing up, sexual trauma, not fitting in and 'mean girls,' and walking through dry seasons... ultimately resting in and rejoicing in the kindness of God to pursue us endlessly and finally fill the longing of our hearts.
0-7:30 min : introducing jess ; the beginning of her story & not fitting in
8-24 min : molestation leading to a young exposure to sexual things, how this formed her growing up and led her into different vices
25-30 min : growing up catholic but then converting to christianity / getting saved, finally feeling like her soul was at ease and satisfied
30-38 min : adjusting to a new life after transformation, family dynamics, and the importance of good friends, God revealing himself as father
39-50 min : hearing Gods voice, the holy spirit, and how God meets you in the midst of depression and dry seasons
